Chocolate Martini O’Clock

This week we chatted with filmmaker, Stephen Kijak, about many things, including his latest work, the documentary Rock Hudson: All that Heaven Allowed.

Fun fact, we have confirmed through an online deep-dive that Rock Hudson and Elizabeth Taylor did, in fact, create the chocolate martini. In their honor, Trish created her own spin on this classic boozy sweet treat (which can be made booze free too!).

The Chocolate Martini

Ingredients

2oz Vodka (for mocktail use water)

1oz Creme de Cacao (for mocktail use coconut water)

1/2tsp Chocolate Syrup

2 dashes Aztec Chocolate bitters

Directions

Shake well in a shaker with ice, then serve strained into a chilled glass. Garnish with something herbal for some added excitement - we used dried lavender.
